The November 7 general election will include the Deweyville school board election with early voting strating Monday.
The Orangefield ISD also has its board elections in November, but was able to cancel it this year because only three incumbents filed for the three open positions. The incumbents are Marc Wernig, Donavan Weldon and Jude Graffagnino.
Deweyville has two incumbents among the five candidates for the three open seats. The incumbents are T.J. Hardin and Douglas Clark. Also running are Luke Smith, Lori “Fears” Williams and Seth Williams.
Early voting will be conducted in the district’s administration office from 7:30 to 3:30 p.m. weekdays. The early voting dates are Monday, October 22, through November 2.
