Orange police Wednesday investigated three 911 calls about gunshots fired in neighborhoods. No injuries were reported and no arrests were made.
The first was reported at 11:45 a.m. in the 400 block of Morrell Boulevard in the Navy Park addition. The complainant told police he was standing outside and a man he knows was standing on the other side of the street. The complainant said the other man pointed a pistol at him and fired it. The man with the gun then went into a house.
The resident of the house allowed police to search, but the shooter was not found. Detective Captain Robert Enmon said the complainant does not want to pursue charges.
About 9 p.m. Wednesday, officers went to a house in the 2800 block of Bear Trails in Little Cypress. Captain Enmon said three males went to the house to confront someone and one of them fired a shot into the air.
A man and woman who live in the 900 block of West John Avenue in the Old Orange Historic District called police about 10 a.m. They told officers they had been at the store and returned to find gunshot damage to the house and a vehicle.
