March 3 (Bay City) – The girls’ Bear Iron Powerlifting team had a tremendous day at the 4A Girls Regional Meet in Bay City. Every Lady Bear lifter was able to post a total. Totals by Aubbrey Trahan, Evelyn Aldaco, and Chloe Jacob (above L-R) qualified them to compete in the 4A Large School Girls State Powerlifting Meet. Jacob placed 1st in her division and also set a 4A Division II Regional Meet bench press record with 125lbs in her weight class. Aldaco finished 2nd in her division. This year’s State Meet will be held in Corpus Christi on Friday, March 18.
