On Monday, January 27th, 2025, at 6:07 PM, officers with the City of Orange Police Department were dispatched to 3333 Ridgemont Drive in reference to an aggravated robbery. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim and learned that his Dodge Challenger had been taken.
Officers learned that one of three black male suspects pointed a handgun at the victim, demanded the keys, and was threatened to be shot. Later in the evening, officers located the victim’s vehicle, and a short pursuit took place.
Three males fled on foot with one 16-year-old juvenile being apprehended. During the investigation, detectives were able to identify the other two subjects that were involved.
On Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, detectives arrested 17-year-old Kenyounni Overstreet and another 16-year-old juvenile. All three males were arrested for (Aggravated Robbery Felony 1). Overstreet was booked into the Orange County Jail, and the two juveniles were brought to Minnie Rogers Juvenile Justice Center.
