Thomas was born on June 25, 1949. He attended Huntington East High School, Huntington, W.Va and was 4.0 Student, in Algebra, Trigonometry and Spelling.
He was scouted by the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team. As a pitcher, he threw several strikes at 60 feet over home plate in front of scouts. However, his love for God and his Ministry surpassed his desire for earthly riches, and he was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses September 4, 1965. He relocated to Orange Texas, where he met the Love of his life, Ms. Phyllis Ware and her son JoNathan. However, their devoted mutual love of God was cut short by Ms. Wares death .
But Tom never wavered from his devotion and faith to God, and serving his fellow mankind. Tom always had a smile and a joke for everybody. Material things meant nothing to Tom. He gave away much of his money and time to help others, through this life and on to the resurrection. Job 14:14,15.
Tom fell asleep in death June 3, 2025. John 11:11-14. He will be sorely missed by many hundreds of people in Texas, West Virginia area, and whereever else he traveled thru life.
There will be a Memorial on Saturday 2 PM June 14th at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1401 MLK Dr, Orange, Texas
