Thomas H. Clark, 83, of Lumberton, passed away on August 27, 2021, in Orange.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 2, 2021, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Catlettsburg, Kentucky, on July 20, 1938, he was the son of Russell E. Clark and Ada Martha (Fleming) Clark. Thomas served his country bravely in the United States Navy. He retired from BASF in Beaumont as a Supervisor and was a member of the Silsbee Masonic Lodge and The Order of the Eastern Star. Thomas loved his God faithfully and was a devout Christian, serving as a Deacon for a number of years. He enjoyed woodworking and had a deep passion for running; training for the Houston Marathon in his 50’s. Thomas will be deeply missed by all those who came to know and love him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Ada Clark; loving wife, Iva Rae Caywood Clark; siblings, Delores Jean Vaugh, Russell E. Clark, Jr., Shirley Ann Waterson and Lois Jane Clark; and one great grandchild.
He is survived by his children, Thomas H. Clark, Jr. of Beaumont, Robert G. Clark and wife Jana of Orange, and Teresa I. Reza and husband Jerry of Bridge City; stepchildren, Clayton Caywood and wife Denise of Lumberton and Felicia Caywood Colton and husband Mike of Kountze; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and the mother of his children, Wanda Faye Addison of Orange.
