
Thomas “Dale” Madeley, 82, of Vidor, passed away peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, March 25th, 2025. A native of Beaumont, Texas, Dale was a longtime resident of Vidor and a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.
Dale proudly served his country in the U.S. Army and was a dedicated member of the IBEW Local Union. A man of many talents, he had a passion for woodworking and took great joy in restoring antique cars. His craftsmanship and attention to detail were evident in everything he created, and he found immense satisfaction in bringing new life to classic automobiles.
Dale is survived by his loving wife of nine years, Nelda Madeley of Vidor, TX; his son, Kevin Madeley, and Jessica Padgett of Brookeland, TX; step-son, Les Harrison of Houston, TX; and step-daughter, Mona Richard of Beaumont, TX. He also leaves behind his brother, Hank Madeley of Corpus Christi, TX, and his sister, Londie Jones of Rose City, TX. His legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren: Harper Richard, Camp Norman, Drake Harrison, and Rayce Harrison, as well as one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Della Madeley, and his brother, Rusty Madeley.
Dale will be remembered for his kind heart, his skillful hands, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. His memory will live on in the projects he completed, the lives he touched, and the stories that will be told for years to come.
