Thomas lived a life full of curiosity, passion, and purpose. As a child, he loved listening to radio shows and was an avid reader, even going through the encyclopedia page by page. He admired figures like Walter Cronkite and dreamed big — including aspiring to become President of the United States.
In high school, he demonstrated leadership and creativity, serving as student body president and participating in theater productions. He graduated from the University of Houston, earned a master’s degree in education, and obtained a degree in Montessori teaching. His love for learning and teaching took him around the world, where he trained teachers in the Montessori method and opened a class with Dr. Glenn Doman to help enhance early childhood learning. He retired in 2018 after successfully running six schools in California.
Thomas was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Tindall; his parents, Finley and Marie Tindall; his grandparents; his two nephews, Johnny Bland and James Grimes; and his beloved sidekick and cousin, Pete Ragusa. He is survived by his siblings, Marion Tindall, Anna Williams, Nancy Johnson (husband Neal), and Rupert Tindall, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family. Thomas’s life reminds us all of the power of curiosity, dedication, and kindness. Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit, wisdom, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him.
