The Orange County Texas Exes have awarded scholarships to two local 2025 high school graduates who plan to attend the University of Texas at Austin this fall.
LCM High School Graduate, Zaret Hermosillo Plascencia (right), received the June & Jesse B. Gunstream Endowed Scholarship for Academic Excellence. She plans to study Biology at UT and attend dental school. Zaret was active in NHS, Interact Club and Key Club at LCM as well as being on the tennis team.
Grace Wimberly, LCM graduate, is the Wynne Hunt Memorial and Judge Pat Clark Endowed Scholarship recipient. She ranked 3rd in her graduating class and plans to study Biology/Pre med at UT. Grace participated in Health Occupations at LCM and was on Student Council, Interact Club and NHS.
