Terry Lynn Norris, 73, of Orange, Texas, passed away on April 16, 2025, in Orange.
Funeral services will be private.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on October 4, 1951, he was the son of Leroy Paul Norris and Joyce Hebert Norris. A self-employed carpenter, Terry took great pride in his craftsmanship. His attention to detail and dedication to quality earned him the respect and admiration of his clients and peers alike. Through this passion, he built and managed his home in Orange, Texas, which houses many memories for his family and friends. Beyond his professional life, Terry found immense joy in boating and fishing. He also adored his cats, taking care and providing a loving home for them, as they kept him company during his days. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Gary Norris, and his sister, Velvet Bergeron.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Donna Norris; his daughter, Amanda (Mandy) Maybit and husband, Luis, of Hernando Beach, Florida; his son, Michael Shaw, of Port Arthur, Texas; his grandchildren, Presley Maybit, Olivia Maybit, Oliver Maybit, Austen Shaw, and Gage Shaw; his brother, Rickie Norris and wife, Deanna of Port Arthur; his sisters, Amber Ramirez and husband, Roland, of Nederland, and Tammy Barnett of Nederland; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Simple Tributes.
