Five people including three children were able to escape harm Sunday when the vehicle they were traveling in found its way into the water.
Authorities were called to Bailey’s Road in Bridge City around 5pm to a vehicle in the water with occupants inside.
The driver said they were trying to turn around on the narrow road with water on both sides and the vehicle slid into the water.
