The Orange Public Library has a series of Summer Reading Programs for readers of all ages! Upon registration, participants will receive a reading log to record their reading and listening time. Readers will turn in their logs by July 26th to receive Library Bucks to be used at the Library Store!
• Preschool Read-to-Me: Wednesdays from June 7th through July 26th from 10:45 am – 11:15 am, a different community member will read to children and parents in the Children’s Room at the library.
• Grades 1st – 6th: Wednesdays from June 7th through July 26th from 10:30 am – 11:30 am, children going into 1st – 6th grades will participate in a different program each week, including art, agriculture, science, and wildlife.
• Young Adults: Tuesdays from June 6th through July 25th from 5:30 pm – 6:30 pm, young adults will hang out in the library with a different activity each week including VR headsets, video and board games, painting, and more!
Readers must sign up at the library for a Summer Reading Program to attend any of the weekly events. Registration begins Tuesday, May 30th with the first program beginning on June 6th.
