The LCM JV had an 8-6 halftime lead over Bridge City Thursday at Battlin Bear Stadium. In the second half both teams battled in the middle of the field. BC had a chance on their final drive to score but came up short as the Bears won by two.

BCMS hosted Little Cypress Tuesday night. The 7th grade defeated the Cubs 28-0, improving to 3-1 on the year and 1-0 in district.. The offense was led by Lincoln Breaux’s 3 touchdowns. Landon Reeves had a nice touchdown pass to Breaux as well. John Van Huis capped the scoring with a two yard touchdown as well. Jamel Charles, David Delao, and Cody Fuselier, Justin Utterback also ran the ball well. The offensive line did a great job opening up holes all night. The defense was led by Ayden Richardson, Stephen Stone, Van Huis, and Breaux, The 7th grade team will host Huffman next Tuesday, October 16th.
The BC 8th grade Red football team beat Little Cypress by a score of 16-0 to improve their season record to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in district. The offense was led by JS Beardon who scored on a 1 yard TD run and a 20 yard TD run. Kyler Garlaska caught a 30 yard pass, and Justin Abate had several good runs at Quarterback. Defensively Clayton Whatley Jayden Martinez, Shawn Hallman, Mason Pruitt, and Noah Broussard stepped up their game, and Christian Kane recovered a fumble to contribute to the cause. Their next game will be at Huffman on Tuesday, October 16th.
