The BC 8th grade Red team defeated Mauriceville 2-0. Daelyn Perry was perfect from the service line with 16 serves including 9 aces. Kylie Bock contributed 6 good serves with 3 aces. Makenna Carey did a superb job on backrow sending up great passes to run the offense. Taryn Doiron led way in assists and attacks. The Lady Cardinals are now 10-2 on the season and 4-0 in district.
The BC 7th grade red team defeated Mauriceville in three sets by a score of 25-14, 20-25, and 15-9. Top servers were Demi Carter, Rylynn Thornton, and Aliya Broussard. Carson Fall had great back row passing and the lady cards had great attacks on the front row. The team will be back at home on Monday, October 8th to face Little Cypress.
Monday night the BC 8th grade white team won their game 15-11 and 17-15. Jocilyn Albiter and Paige Taylor both led the team with seven serves followed by Jaycelyn Goff with five serves, Kaylee Ferrell with two serves, Izzy Moore and Natalie Mejia with one serve. Both Rilee Crouch and Izzy Moore each had one solid kill earning a point for the lady cardinals. The cardinals’ defense was led by Rilee Crouch, Kennadie Leonard, Alexis Dickerson, and Heavan Lynch.
The 7th Grade White Team won against the Mauriceville Lady Panthers in two sets 15-7, and 15-8. Lyndsey Dominguez and Natalie Chavez led the serving game for the Lady Cards. Kennedy Frank contributed two kills, while Jules Gueder chipped in one. The Lady Cardinals will play the Little Cypress Lady Cubs on Monday night at 4:30.
