On Sunday, December 8, 2019, at 7:22 p.m. the Orange County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a robbery that had just occurred at M&S Grocery located at 1076 FM 1130 in the Little Cypress-Mauriceville area.
The clerk advised two white males with black handguns entered the store and demanded money. The suspects took several packs of cigarettes and also the store’s cordless phone as well as the clerk’s Samsung cell phone. The two males then left the store with an unknown amount of money, headed in the direction of Meadowlark Street. The clerk said he heard the sound of a vehicle but did not actually see the vehicle.
The clerk described both suspects as short, one with a slender build and one with a larger build. Both suspects were wearing black long sleeved shirts and masks covering their faces. One mask was black and the other was a tan army color.
Investigators are currently working to retrieve video footage that will be posted soon.
