Madeline Stephenson was all smiles Wednesday at LCM High School and rightfully so as she signed to play softball with Blinn JC in Brenham.
Longtime Blinn Softball Coach Rick Church is looking forward to having Stephenson join his team next fall.
“We’ve had the GT Shockers team (Stephenson’s select team) on our radar for years and have signed some good players from that area, and we look forward to Madeline contributing to our team. She’s a hard worker and a great student so we have no doubt that she’ll make a name for herself here.”
Madeline Stephenson is a four-year Varsity Letterman named as 2019 District 22-4A First Team Infielder, 2019 KOGT Newcomer of the Year and 2019 Orange Leader Second Team Infielder. Covid took away the many awards Stephenson would have probably been up for in 2020 if not for Covid-19.
Madeline’s parents are Lisa and Wayne Stephenson.
