
Stacy Leigh Richoux, 52, of Vidor, Texas, passed away on April 11, 2025, in Beaumont.
Family and Friends can pay their respects at Claybar Funeral Home between the hours of 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 21st, and a graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Orange.
Born in Orange, Texas, on October 24, 1972, she was the daughter of George Michael Anderson and Elizabeth Ann Hughes Anderson. Stacy leaves behind a legacy of compassion, dedication, and unwavering love for her family and profession. She dedicated over 30 years of her life to nursing, working in multiple locations and establishing herself as a beloved caregiver. Her passion for her work was evident, as she truly loved being a nurse. Stacy was a devoted family member, and her family was her world. A protective and stubborn individual, she stood by her loved ones with fierce loyalty. Known affectionately by her nicknames “Nonnie” and “Mothership,” her witty sense of humor brought joy and laughter to those around her. Stacy had a passion for reading and an appreciation for horror movies, which she enjoyed sharing with family and friends. Her love for her cats further reflected her nurturing spirit. She was always willing to help others, exemplifying a selflessness that enriched the lives of those fortunate enough to know her. Stacy will be remembered for her warmth, dedication, and the love she freely offered to her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege to be a part of her life.
She is preceded in death by her step-father, Bobby Barnett; her step-son, Justin Richoux; her uncle, Ronnie Hughes; her aunts, Dot Wiegand, June Chambers, Shirley Godeaux, and Judy Hughes; her uncle, Jerry Hughes; her cousins, Ashley Chambers, and Shane Dronett.
She is survived by her loving spouse of 16 years, Tracey Richoux; her parents, Mike and Sue Anderson; her daughters, Morgan Trahan and son-in-law, Caleb, Kynedie Craig, and Balei Slaughter; her grandchildren, Chesnei Trahan, and Creed Trahan; her uncle, Larry Hughes; her aunt, Mary Hickey; her best friend for over 40 years, Angie Baker; and numerous other loving family members and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Caleb Trahan, Rowdy Slaughter, Adam Hughes, Donnie Baker, Gabriel Dunlap, Cody Craig, and Donnie Bush.
