In conjunction with National Catholic School Week, St. Mary Catholic School celebrated the 100^th Day of School.  As they do each year, students collect items for those in need.  8^th grade collected money for the St. Mary Church Soup Kitchen.  Other classes collected pet food for the Animal Shelter, needed items for the Rainbow Room and items for the Angela House in Houston.  The celebration took place during morning prayers. 

The school also recognized the Cajun Navy, Orange Fire Department and Orange Police Department.  Religion classes made book marks and even homemade cookies for the first responders in appreciation for all of their hard work, especially during the Harvey devastation.
