
UPDATE: On Saturday, Dec. 29, after Toledo Bend reached 172.90, the SRA opened all eleven gates at two feet. That has increased the CFS to 34,590.
Because of recent rains, Toledo Bend Lake has reached 172.7o ft. The Sabine River Authority has responded by opening seven gates at one foot and two gates at two feet producing a CFS of 23,590. Full pool at Toledo Bend is 172 and SRA opens gates when the lake reaches 172.50.
The Sabine River at Deweyville was at 24.56 this morning, over the flood stage at 24 feet. Projections are for the river to reach 25.3 by Dec. 30 resulting in minor flooding along the river.
