
Orangefield dispatched Silsbee 8-1 on Friday. The Bobcats got things moving in the first inning, when Tyler Shearin singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. OF tallied three runs in the second inning. Shearin and Kyle Michael each had RBIs in the frame.
Jason Bodin pitched the Bobcats to victory. The righty surrendered one run on two hits over four innings, striking out nine. Cooper Longron threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Logan Simmons took the loss for Silsbee. OF tallied seven hits. Kolbie Sowell and Michael each had multiple hits.

The LCM baseball game vs. Lumberton has been moved to Saturday with JV starting at noon. The game was moved because of a shortage of umpires

Vidor smacked Bridge City 10-0. Reagan Hallmark pitched a gem striking out 6 in the shutout. Reagan Weiblinger was 2-3 with an RBI. Landon Bailey was 1-3 with 3 RBI, and Bryce Munoz and Logan Morris were both 1-2 with 2 RBI’s.

BC (9-0) shutout Vidor (4-5) 12-0 in 5 to reach the postseason for the 27th time in school history. Carson Fall struck out 12 and the offense pounded out 12 hits lead by three each from K. Dosch and M. Carey.

LCM (7-2) whipped Lumberton (5-3) 7-2 as the Lady Bears came out swinging with all 7 runs in the first two innings. Cami Shugart was back in the circle with a complete game victory striking out 5 and surrendering 1 ER on 4 hits. Shugart was also 2-4 at the plate with a triple and an RBI. Lexis Moss was 2-4 with 2 doubles, Ansley Moore was 2-3 with 2 RBI’s and Jacelyn Cook had a triple.

Deweyville celebrated Senior Night with a 14-1 win over Hull-Daisetta. P. Clark was 3-4 and also pitched 3 innings with 5K’s. J. Hughes was 2-4 with 3RBI’s. B. Smith struck out 6 to get the win and also went 2-3. Seniors who were honored included Brooke Sims, Jessica Hughes, Chloe Landry, and Aleigha Raymer.
