Another credit card skimmer was found on a gas pump at the Circle K Valero Store off Interstate 10 by Highway 62. Orange police were called to the store at 10 Monday morning to take a report on the skimmer.
The store is at a major highway intersection and has reported several found skimmers during the past six months. Two were found at different times in March.
Thieves put the skimmers on gas pumps. When a customer uses a credit or debit card, the skimmer can send the information through a computer. The thieves then use the credit card information for illegal purchases.
