The man who was shot outside in the Sabine River Park apartment complex early Friday morning is wanted by Houma, Louisiana, police on several charges, including attempted first degree murder.
Orange Police Detective Captain Robert Enmon said Lorenzo Barrow was shot several times about 2:30 a.m. Friday at the complex formerly known as The Oaks, 111 Pine Avenue. Barrow is in stable condition at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A 59-year-old resident of the complex was shot in the arm while he was asleep on his couch by a stray bullet during the shooting.
Barrow is one of three young men wanted for attempted first degree murder, aggravated criminal damage and possession of a stolen vehicle. The charges stem from an April 5 incident in Houma in which a man was threatened with a gun and he then drove away. A chase ensued with shots fired from one vehicle. The chase ended with one vehicle running into a residence and the other hitting a utility pole.
