Tuesday around 9:30 PM Orange police responded to the Velma Jeter Apartments at 2500 Allie Payne after dispatch reported that someone had been shot. OPD had no details at the time but Justice of the Peace Joy Dubose-Simonton confirmed that she pronounced a 36-year-old male victim from Orange deceased at the scene. She ordered an autopsy.
