At Madison Square Garden Friday, Orange’s O’Shaquie Foster took a split decision win over Abraham Nova, retaining his WBC super featherweight title.
Foster won two cards on scores of 115-112 and 116-111, while the third judge was watching another fight and gave it to Nova, 114-113. The fight included a knockdown by Foster in the 12th.
Foster has now defended his title twice (22-2, 12 KO)and has now won 12 straight fights.
