Now Accepting Applications for the 2026 Sheriff’s Academy!
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office Training Division is now accepting applications for the 2026 Sheriff’s Academy, beginning January 2026!
They’re seeking motivated individuals ready to serve their communities with respect, courage, and professionalism.
Agency Sponsorship:
Law enforcement agencies may submit names of potential candidates for sponsorship.
Independent Candidates:
Individuals may apply on their own by submitting a Personal History Statement to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office. Selected applicants must complete a physical exam, psychological exam, and urinalysis.
Application Deadline: December 1, 2025
Academy Dates: January – October 2026
