Sherie Murphy, 41, of Bridge City, passed away on April 11, 2021 in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, April 17, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Michael Williams. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, on October 9, 1979, she was the daughter of Eldon Reed and Connie (Arnold) Ruppart. Sherie was a hairstylist for many years at Shabby Chic hair salon where she had many clients and friends. She was a faithful member of The Church of Christ. Sherie made the best gumbo and spaghetti and enjoyed dancing and singing to her favorite Cajun music. Her laugh and smile were contagious to everyone and she never met a stranger. Sherie was the best caregiver to her children, a loving wife, daughter, sister and friend. She left an impact on many lives and the memories they have with her will last a lifetime.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and brother, Wesley Henry.
She is survived by her loving husband of almost 18 years, Lonnie Murphy; mother, Connie Ruppart and husband Andy of Wildwood; father, Eldon Reed and wife Susanne of Bandera, Texas; children Keaton Murphy of Bridge City and Jolie Murphy also of Bridge City; siblings, Alicia Hailey and husband Bradly of Nederland, Texas, Brandon Henry and wife Lamb of Pacific, Washington, and Jade Shaw of Tacoma, Washington; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extend family and friends.
Serving as pallbearers will be Aaron Burton, Paul Cormier, Ryan Cormier, Coy Thibodeaux, Kevin Murphy, and Curtis Arnold.
