The good news is the rabbit survived. Unfortunately the shed did not.
OCESD #4 assisted by #3 were called to 7008 Morris Rd. in Mauriceville about 11:30am Saturday morning for a shed on fire.
After speaking to the owner, Chief Matt Manshack said there was a rabbit inside along with a heat lamp to keep it warm. He believes the heat lamp started the fire.
The building sustained heavy damage.
