The BC at LCM match had to be postponed to Wednesday because the power went out with BC leading 1-0. They are expected to resume at 5:30pm.

Orangefield traveled to Warren walked away with all three teams winning! The freshman team won 25-21, 25-16. Gabby White had 3 aces, 7 assists and 2 digs. Sophia Marino had 3 aces, 2 kills and Mattie Owens had 4 kills, 1 block. 2 digs, and 2 aces. The JV team won 25-8 and 25-13. Paris Becker had 5 aces and 7 digs. Addisyn Moore had 11 assists. Sterling Richard had 3 aces, 3 kills, and 8 digs.
The Varsity won 25-20, 25-15, 18-25, 14-25, and 16-14. Leading the Bobcats in Aces – Libby Thurman 4; Digs – Mackenzie Haley 25, Libby Thurman 17, Harleigh Rawls 16; Kills – Mackenzie Haley 13, Harleigh Rawls 9, Greenlea Oldham 8; Assists – Brianna Moore 24, Harleigh Rawls 16; Blocks – Greenlea Oldham 5, Lela Francis 2. The Lady Bobcat JV and Freshman will compete in the Bridge City tournament this weekend and all three teams will travel to East Chambers Friday.

The Orangefield district opener for volleyball season took place Monday as the Lady Bobcats played host to the Lionettes of Kountze. The 7th grade B-team with Peyton Vincent and Melissa Saucedo-Mendoza leading the team in serves with six aces each. Maya Manning added four aces and a kill, and Karlie Traxler finished with two aces and a kill.
The 8th grade B-team also won with top servers Kenli Vacek and Amelia McFatter with four aces each. Cadley Gaudet followed with two aces. McFatter protected the net with a great front-row attack, and the Lady Bobcats took the first set 15-5. In the second set, Jaelyn Leibold stole the show, racking up 13 aces. The energy was electric as the Bobcats went on to win 15-1 in the second set.
The 7th grade A-team was lead by Teal Kibodeaux who had nine aces, Madilynn Chance had four, while Aspen Babin and Laila Agerton each had three against the Wildcats! Arianna Collazo, Ava Josephson, and Hannah Bisson defended the net with three kills.
The 8th grade A-team rounded out the night with staggering performances behind the service line. Mikayla Locke was the leading server on the night with 15 total serves; 10 being aces. Paisley Reeves also contributed behind the line with five aces of her own. The team chemistry was a beautiful thing to witness with Eliese Gravett attacking from the back row, Brennah Lee securing the defense on the net, and Madison McCormack leading in assists. The ladies will be at the PNG Tournament this weekend as they try to seal another championship!

BC vs Jasper
The 8th grade red team defeated Jasper in two games with scores of 25-17 and 25-8. Reagan Perritt had 2 kills and 2 aces, Aubrey Carpenter had 2 kills and Karsen Bock had 1. Madeleine Doyle had 3 aces and 4 assists. Ella Droddy and Jada Juneau had 3 aces while Ellie Latiolais and Charley Gauthier each had 2. The red team will be back in action this weekend at the PNG tournament.
The 7th grade red team defeated Jasper in two games 25-10, 25-12. Kaitlyn Juneau had 6 aces and 2 kills. Khylie Chance had 5 aces. Naryiah Wiegreffe had 4 aces and 6 assists. Aubrey Small chipped in 3 aces and 2 kills. Kenlee Putnam had 3 aces as well. Kendal Krailo had 2 aces and 1 Kill. Mia Sterling contributed 2 kills. The team is now 5-0 on the season and 2-0 in district play. The Lady Cardinals will play again Friday at the PNG tournament.
8th great white team beat Jasper 2 out of 3 games 15-6, 6-15, and 15-10. Meeghan Delli had 1 kill and 1 assist, Peyton Melancon had 6 aces, Paisley Brown had 5 aces and Peyton Dupuis had 8 aces. Way to fight!
7th grade white team beat Jasper 15-4! Natalie Jacob’s served 13 aces and had 1 assist, Brooklyn Mahana served 4 aces, and Kapri Fredrick had 1 kill and 1 ace! Great job girls!
