Saturday in Madisonville the Bridge City Lady Cardinals saw their playoff run end with a three set loss to a very good Salado team.
The Lady Cards end the season 34-13 under first year Coach Connor Nichols. It was also their fifth straight year to reach the third round.
Woodville and Lumberton also fell in the third round. Hardin won in 3AD2 and advances to the fourth round to play Clifton.
