Born in Clarkston Washington, on July 25, 1961, he was the son of Dale and Margie Storey. Scotty worked for Orangefield School District for many years. He was very talented in many ways with his carpentry, plumbing, and fixing things. Scotty would help anyone in need and gave his all to the Lord Jesus. He was the type of guy that everyone loved and was always there when things needed to be done. Scotty was a great asset in His Steps Church where he served as assistant Pastor. He was a spirit filled Christian that knew God’s word and could surely preach and teach it. Through all his sickness and pain, he never felt sorry for himself or complained. He was a real “trooper”. He was a great man of God, a loving husband, a wonderful papa, and a great friend. Scotty will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by Mary J. Storey; brother, Mike Kinloch; and brother-in-law, Bill Ward.
He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Vinna Storey; parents, Dale and Margie Storey; siblings, Curt Kinloch, Rusty Storey and wife Cathy Storey, Don Kinloch and wife Judy, Ricky Storey and wife Betty, Ken Kinloch and husband Ben, and Barbarene Ward; children, Dustin Storey and Travis Storey; step sons, Zackariah Mitchell and Lyle Mitchell; daughter in law, Megan Knox; and grandchildren, Sierra Mitchell, Baylee Storey, Tiana Stroey, Savannah Storey, Lily Storey, John Storey, and Teagan Storey.
