Rainbow of Wildflowers! – May 4
Wildflowers come in a rainbow of colors but did you know they also have a rainbow of functions? Find out how important wildflowers really are to our environment and discover the creatures that rely on them. We will also sample some of the many different flavors of honey that are made with these flowers.

Yoo, hoo! It’s Bamboo! – May 11
Join us for an exciting exploration of bamboo! Discover fascinating facts about this incredible plant and embark on a leisurely hike to explore Shangri La’s bamboo grove. Get creative as we craft a one-of-a-kind wall hanging and a cute succulent.

Ladybugs and Gentlemen Bees – May 18
This family-friendly program begins with story time in the Children’s Garden, followed by some fun facts about our local beneficial insects! We will explore the many benefits of having ladybugs and honey bees in our garden, followed by the release of live ladybugs and a sampling of several varieties of honey!

Embark on a whirlwind adventure with a program all about wind! Join us as we explore the fascinating science behind this natural force through interactive experiments and engaging activities.
