Sarah Ann Lawson, 43 of Orange, TX, went home to be with Jesus on May 11, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday May 18, 2020 at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Burial will follow at The Cemetery in Mauriceville, TX. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., prior to the funeral service.
Sarah was born on Wednesday February 16, 1977, in Orange, TX. She was the beloved daughter of her loving mother Frances Ann Hoffpauir, who stood by her faithfully. Sarah devoted her life to her children who she adored above all. She put others before herself and enjoyed the simple things in life. She cherished every moment with her children. She loved singing bluegrass gospel music and to be around her family. She had a big heart who truly loved helping those in need. She will be remembered as someone who loved dearly, cared strongly, and forgave easily.
She is survived by her parents, Frances Hoffpauir and Scotty Lawson; children Billy Jones Jr. and girlfriend Allison Koch of Vidor, Charity Lawson of Orange and Faith Jones of Orange; grandchildren Alivia Grace Lawson; “The Best Damn Brother” Scott R. Lawson Jr. of Mauriceville, Brothers Billy Ray Lawson and wife Karla, and Matthew Lawson of Vidor; nieces and nephews, Alec Lawson, Tristen Lawson, Ariana Lawson, and Savannah Lawson; special aunts Katy Kelley and Lillie Gordey.
We wish to thank all the friends and family who helped Sarah during her difficult times, especially her late uncle Ralph Hoffpauir.
Pallbearers will be Billy Jones Jr, Alec Lawson, Mark Gordey, Michael Gordey, Heath Kelley, and John Kelley. Honorary Pallbearers are Michael Hoffpauir and Randy Hoffpauir.
We are so thankful God chose Sarah to be part of our family.
