Pinehurst had an adjustment in sales taxes to show an increase for August. Last month, City Administrator Robbie Hood said the city’s payment from the Texas Comptroller’s Office needed to be changed because of a problem with crediting the cities of Pinehurst, Orange, and West Orange with their sales. The three cities have the same zip code.
