
After topping out at 173.56 on January 4, Toledo Bend Lake sits at 172.81 at 4:45am Tuesday morning (full pool is 172) with all 11 gates opened 3 feet.
The Sabine River at Bon Weir will slowly start to recede after reaching 36.19. At 4:15am Tuesday the river there was at 36.03 which is right at the line between a moderate and a major flood stage.
The Sabine River at Deweyville hit 27.07 at 3:45am Tuesday morning and is predicted to slowly start receding and should be below 27 ft by Jan. 10 which is considered a moderate flood stage.
The Sabine at Orange will reach a high of 3.7 around Jan. 12 which will not cause any problems in that area.

Deweyville students will return to classes on Tuesday, but school buses will not routes over the flooded streets in the areas of River Oaks, Ruliff, Indian Lake or Sheppard Settlement.
Deweyville ISD Superintendent Keith Jones said parents should not drive their students to school through flooded roads. If a student cannot make it to classes, parents should contact the appropriate campus to get homework assignments.
