Ronna Sue Jordan, age 76, of Lumberton, TX, passed away on Thursday, July 10, 2025. She was born on November 16, 1948, in Jonesboro, LA.
Thoughtful, sweet, and giving, she walked through life with the quiet strength of someone who believed deeply in goodness and purpose. Ronna was a devoted mother; she was a hero in her own right. Her children were the centerpiece of her world, the focus of her love. She championed them, defended them, and poured into them all that she had. To Ronna, her greatest achievement was the bond she nurtured with her family. Her joy came from the special moments, lifting up others, and seeing life through a special lens.
Her faith in the Lord was the foundation of her life. She pondered the deep truths of her spirituality with reverence and assurance, always seeking to edify others with the hope that she herself held dear. She was a piddler and liked browsing Dollar General for knick knacks. She was nostalgic, a sanctuary of memory for her family. As a proud “Mawmaw”, her stash of sweet treats was well known among her grandchildren, a symbol of how she gave love in all ways. Ronna filled spaces with laughter, cared deeply, and lived happily. Her perspective on life was a gift to those who were lucky enough to be part of it. Though she is gone, she will be missed, her loved remembered, and her memory cherished.
Left to cherish her memory are children, Richie Jordan and wife, Leighann, Reece Jordan and wife, Kristy, and Robyn Jordan of Creola, LA; brother, Rand Dennis and wife, Carolyn, of San Antonio, TX; grandchildren, Madeline Wiess and husband, Robbie, Carter Jordan, Julia Jordan, and Olivia Jordan; half
sister, Robin Parker; as well as numerous other friends, family, and loved ones.
Ronna is preceded in passing by her parents, Ronald and Pat Hayes Dennis.
