
Roger Livingston of Orange, TX passed away on Friday April 6, 2018 in Orange, TX.
A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Saturday April 14, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Bell of Calvary Baptist Church in Port Acres.
Roger was born August 24, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida.
He was a resident of Cypress Group Home in Orange, TX since 1984.
He was employed by O.C.A.R.C. for over 50 years and was one of the original members.
He was also employed by Byley Barber Shop from 1969 to 1995.
He was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Seattle Seahawks fan. He looked forward to the annual O.C.A.R.C. Fish Fry. He loved watching westerns, wrestling, and most of all, The Dukes of Hazzard.
Roger is preceded in death by his father Deauo Livingston, mother Mabel Livingston, brothers Steve Livingston and Richard Livingston.
Survivors include nephew, Aaron Livingston; his niece, Kourtne Livingston; his family at Cypress Group Home; and his close friends, John and Cheryl Byley, and David (Bubba) and Mari Jackson.
Thank you to all who cared for Roger: John “Big Johnny” Thomas and the O.C.A.R.C Family, Tristan Jones, Coralene Peck, Nedra Franks, Myra Bell, Fannie Richard, Wynette Johnson, Emily Amburg, Damon Wallace, Monique West, Vequal Roberts, Elizabeth Riggs, Elshon Clark, Brent Cooney, Shameka Peacock, and all the countless men and women throughout the years.
Roger never met a stranger and numerous friends throughout Orange.
Honorary Pallbearers are Horace Martin, Paul Gough, Brady Lewis, Dwayne Benke, Layson Richard, and Ben Johnson.

AWE… I’M SADDENED TO LEARN OF ROGERS PASSING … I’VE KNOWN HIM ALL MY LIFE ..i LIVED IN GREENWAY AND ROGER WOULD RIDE HIS BIKE OFTENTIMES STOPPING AT OUR HOUSE ON ROBIN STREET TO VISIT WITH MY DAD OR GET HIS BIKE REPAIRED( TIGHTEN CHAIN, QUICK AIR UP …) ANYHOW, HE WAS A STAPLE IN GREENWAY AND AT OCARC … I KNOW THAT ROGER WILL BE MISSED HE WAS KNOWN & LOVED BY SO MANY … MY CONDOLENCES TO ROGERS FAMILY .. Roger was such a great guy! I missed seeing him come into Pizza Hut back in the day when I worked there in high school. He loved playing the jukebox and his favorite song was Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress! He would sing along with it! Even though my name was David he loved calling me Rufus! Don’t know what started that, just know he thought it was so funny! Will miss you buddy! God Bless
