Rochelle Annette Ibarra-Istre, 51, of Sulphur, Louisiana, passed away on September 11, 2020, in Beaumont, Texas.
Born in Sulphur, Louisiana, on October 7, 1968, she was the daughter of James B. Broussard and Beverly Ann (Pickell) Duhon. Rochelle was a faithful Christian woman with a big heart. She spent a large portion of her time volunteering. Rochelle served as the president of the Band Boosters and was a member of the Parent Teacher Association and the Project Safe Graduation committee. Rochelle adored her family and loved to spend quality time with them and take care of them in any way she could. She was a bright light to all those around her and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Ibarra; and her parents, James Broussard and Beverly Duhon.
She is survived by her children, Antonio Ibarra and wife Victoria, Sabrina Ibarra and fiancé Quincy Lindsey, and Eric Ibarra and girlfriend Faith Verdine, all of Orange; her sister, Lana Broussard of Orange; brother, Tracy Broussard and wife Crystal of West Lake; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
Cremation will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
