Payton Robertson went undrafted but has not given up on the opportunity to play in the big leagues. The NAIA All-American at LSU-Shreveport is playing with the Windy City ThunderBolts of the Frontier League which is part of the Independent Baseball League. The team is based near Chicago in Crestwood, Illinois.
Robertson has wasted no time getting involved with the Bolts. In just 12 games and with 36 to play, the second baseman from WOS is hitting .317 with a triple, three doubles, eight stolen bases and four RBI’s.
