West Orange police are asking the public to help catch a man who robbed the Sally’s Beauty Supply store off Edgar Brown Drive near Walmart Wednesday morning.
West Orange Assistant Police Chief Jesse Romero said the robbery was about 10:40 a.m. A man walked into the store and milled around. He then went to the clerk and laid a note down saying he had a gun and demanding money.
Romero said the man did not show a weapon. The clerk gave him the money in the cash register and he left.
The robber is described as a bearded white man with a slim build and about six feet tall. He is in his mid-30s with a bald head and hair on the sides.
Surveillance video shows he was likely driving a dark green or silver Ford Taurus toward the Walmart parking lot.
