Rex Edward Bolinger, 64, of Vidor, passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont, TX, surrounded by his loving family.
Rex was born on July 23, 1960, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Charlene and Rex Bolinger. He spent much of his early life moving from place to place before eventually settling in Orange, Texas, where he found his true home and the love of his life, Nora Lisa Williams. The two were married in Orange on June 23, 1984, and shared a deep and devoted bond until her passing.
A hardworking man, Rex made his living as a truck driver for 18 years, supporting his family with grit and dedication. But beyond his work, his greatest pride and joy came from being a father to four children, whom he loved dearly. He was a devoted Christian whose faith guided his life and who took great care in being a loving father, husband, brother, and grandfather.
Rex is survived by his four children: Shanna Day, Michael Bolinger and wife Becca, David Bolinger, and Bethany Bolinger; his sister, Carlita Bolinger; and his grandchildren: Kaiya Bolinger, Khloe Bolinger, Stella Bolinger, and Brooklyn Bolinger. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Nora Lisa Bolinger.
A celebration of life service is being planned, and details will be announced at a later date. Rex’s memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
