The Orange County Retired Teachers will meet at Wesley United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall located at 401 N 37th Street on Monday. December 8, at 10:30 a.m. Barbara Meyer from the Rainbow Room will be our guest speaker this month. Rainbow Room is an emergency resource center that distributes new items to clients of CPS workers free of any overhead or administrative costs. She will share information about this programs and the services it provides in Orange County. We’re putting together a box of new items they need at this time. Please choose an item from the following to bring to the meeting: Sets of clothes size newborn to 5t, comfort toys and blankets, basic baby toiletries, or baby diapers and wipes. All Orange County retired teachers and school personnel are invited. Bring a covered dish for our Christmas luncheon. If you haven’t joined or renewed your TRTA membership for the 2025-2026 year, you can still join. It may be the best $40 ($35 state, $5 local) you spend each year as we continue to advocate for retirement security. If you have any questions call 409-670-7703.
