The Orange County Retired Teachers will meet at 10:30 a.m., Monday, Nov. 10, at Wesley United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall located at 401 N 37th Street in Orange.
Janet Morris and Chantell Lloyd from Garth House will be the speakers this month. They will share information about the programs and services provided by Garth House to Southeast Texas.
The retired teachers are putting together a box of items on Garth House’s “Wish List.”
Please choose an item from the following to bring to the meeting: Individual snacks (cookies & chips), individual juice boxes or pouches, Clorox wipes, paper towels, Kleenex, coloring/ activity books or Hot Wheels/Matchbox cars.
All Orange County retired teachers and school personnel are invited. If you haven’t joined or renewed your TRTA membership for the 2025-2026 year, you can still join. It may be the best $40 ($35 state, $5 local) you spend each year as they continue to advocate for retirement security.
