Orange County Disaster Rebuild sponsored a free community resource fair on Saturday, July 14, at the Orange County Convention and Expo Center. Charitable organizations and emergency response groups provided information and resources for citizens to take with them.
Also at the fair were case managers recruited by Orange County to help citizens deal with recovering from the affects of Tropical Storm Harvey. Their counseling was free and done in separate rooms at the Expo Center.
Acadian Ambulance and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office brought some of their emergency response vehicles to the parking lot for especially the children to see up close. Included were a helicopter from Acadian and the Sheriff’s airboat.
