
Reggie Clenard Allen, 73, of Port Arthur, Texas, passed away on March 24, 2025, at home.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City. Officiating will be Rev. Keith Royal.
Visitation will begin prior to the service at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City.
Born in Port Arthur, Texas, on May 23, 1952, he was the son of Russell Homer Allen and Doris Elizabeth (Haley) Allen. Reggie dedicated his career as a pipefitter for the Local #195. Known for his big heart, he was always there to lend a helpful hand to those around him, embodying a spirit of charity and kindness that touched many lives. Reggie had a passion for sports cars, both classic and new, and enjoyed sharing this interest with others by attending car shows. He was also a big fan of the Beatles, often found listening to their music. One of his proudest accomplishments was being a member of the Bricklin Car Club, which showcased his love for automobiles and camaraderie with fellow enthusiasts. Reggie’s warmth and generosity will always be remembered by those lucky enough to know him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Doris Allen; and nephew, Shaun Allen.
He is survived by his sons, Christopher Allen and Cory Allen; daughter, Shelly Allen; several grandchildren; siblings, Russell Allen and wife Dorine; and Karen Gay England; nieces and nephews, Kimberly Allen, Craig and Jana Allen, Troy and Lisa England, Kurt and Kim England, Kristi and Jamie Abshire; great nieces and nephews, Tristan Abshire, Lani Abshire, Grace England, Mitchell England, and Blakely Allen; and other loving family and friends.
Cremation will be held under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
