Raymond “Bo” Bussell was born December 1, 1936 in Starks, Louisiana and passed away September 10, 2021 in Starks, Louisiana.
He is survived by his loving wife, Flora Bussell; children, Gary Bussell and wife, Regena, Steven Bussell and wife, Sherry , Vicki Pruitt and husband, Darryll; grandchildren, Weston, Jacelyn, Amber, Lyndi and Jordan; nine great-grandchildren; brothers, Roy Bussell and J.L. Bussell; sisters, Shirley Barks, Linda Martinez and Merline Thaxton.
He is preceded by his parents, Johnny and Delphia Bussell; brothers, Derwood “Woody” Bussell and Homer “Buck” Bussell.
Bo enjoyed to hunt and travel. He was a member of Deweyville United Pentecostal Church where he served as a trustee for over twenty years. Most of all he loved his family; especially his grandchildren.
Family to receive friends Friday, September 17, 2021 from 5:00pm-7:00pm with a service to begin at 7:00pm at Deweyville United Pentecostal Church. A second visitation will start 9:00am-10:00am, Saturday, September 18, 2021 with procession to Fountain Cemetery in Starks, Louisiana for a graveside service.
Arrangements are being handled by Riley Smith & Sons Funeral Home, 1810 West Fourth Street, Dequincy, La.
