Randal “Randy” Reese, Sr., 59, of Orange, passed away on June 21, 2021, in Orange.
Born in Batesville, Indiana, on December 19, 1962, he was the son of Melvin Reese and Nancy Reese. Randy had a heart of gold. It was his life’s mission to help his friends. He was always the first one there if you needed help. Though he lived most of his life in Texas, his heart was to be in Indiana farming the land. He loved music and playing guitar. Everybody knows Randy was no stranger to the ladies. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Nancy Reese.
He is survived by his children, Randal Reese, Jr., Ashley Reese, and Melony Reese; grandchildren, Layne Reese, Rivers Reese, Skylar Reese, Ivy Reese, Jade Nicholson, Rian Weatherford, and Reese Weatherford; one great-grandchild; and siblings, Brandon Reese, Sharon Hantz and Shannon Reese.
Funeral services for Randy will be held at 5:00 p.m., Friday, July 2, 2021, at Colony Baptist Church in Orange with Pastor Tim McCarver officiating. Cremation will be held under the direction of Simple Tributes by Claybar.
