West Orange-Stark graduate, Ryan Ragsdale, has been named the head baseball coach at 6A Katy Paetow High School. Paetow (Pay-tow) is a part of the Katy ISD. It’s his first head coaching job.
Ragsdale was a football and baseball standout at WOS as a member of the state finalist baseball team in 2015, and a member of a state finalist and two state championship football teams.
He played two years of baseball at Galveston College before beginning his student-coaching career at Orangefield. He completed a one year stint at WOS before accepting the assistant baseball job at Katy Paetow a year ago.
