A group of 20 or more are in front of the West Orange-Cove Administration Building protesting the school’s handling of students Morris Joseph and Rufus Joseph, who were the students allegedly involved in the assault of a man at Crystal Beach during Spring Break.
From what we’ve been able to gather, they are protesting the students being placed into alternative school following the incident. They’re claiming “innocent until proven guilty.” The district says they are just following the law.
