Orange native and former Texas A&M football Coach RC Slocum has announced that he has been diagnosed with a form of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma after having tests run at MD Anderson in Houston.
Slocum said in a post, “Please put me you on your prayer list. I am a firm believer that God is in control and can still do miraculous things.”
R.C. Slocum is the winningest football coach in Texas A&M history with an overall record of 123-47-2 in 14 years. He was named to the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame in 2012. He is also a member of the College Football Playoff Selection Committee.
