A subcontractor at West Orange-Stark Middle School was arrested Tuesday for having methamphetamine and a meth pipe on campus. Orange Police Detective Captain Robert Enmon said the man was not a school employee.
The school called police in the afternoon because a car was parked in a fire lane in the front of the school and buses were going to be arriving to use the space. The school wanted police help in finding the owner.
Enmon said the officer looked inside and saw a prescription bottle with pills that did not match. He also found methamphetamine. When the officer found the person who left the car, the man had a pipe used to smoke drugs in his pocket.
26-year-old Heath Denson of Port Arthur was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and taken to the Orange County Jail.

Orange police report Jordan Ardoin of Orange was arrrested Tuesday afternoon at a house in the Sunset Park area.
A patrol officer said he received a tip that a man wanted on warrants was at a house in the 2300 block of Pacific Street. The officer said when he drove up, he saw a white Lincoln parked in the yard. When the officer got out of his patrol vehicle, a man got out of the Lincoln.
As a lieutenant checked for the warrants on the man, the patrol officer searched the vehicle. The officer reported finding a baggie of marijuana on the floorboard of the front seat, plus a larger bag of marijuana inside a black bag on the back seat floor board. A digital scale was also in the black bag. In addition, the officer found a baggie with three Lorazempan pills.
